Spiritual Law of Responsibility…
Do you ever wonder what your responsibility in life is?
In life we are asked to respond appropriately to any situation. It is our own personal responsibility to prove we are able to handle all situations responsibly with honesty and integrity.
Each person is responsible for their own wellbeing and destiny. We do not have the right to carry someone else’s burdens for them as this would inhibit their personal growth and deny them their responsibilities.
When we take responsibility for someone else’s choices and decisions we do not serve their highest good or spiritual growth. Our responsibility is to strengthen and empower others and encourage them to carry their own responsibilities.
We project our own judgements and feelings onto others. When we don’t speak or act from a place of honesty about a situation, or how we feel about someone or something out of fear, anger or jealousy we are creating an injustice to both our self and the other person or situation. So when we do speak honestly we release ourselves from the situation as well as the other person.
When we truly understand what responsibility is to us we no longer need to blame others or project our judgements and feelings onto others any longer.
So taking responsibility isn’t about what actually happens but how you react.
As you go about your day perhaps give some thought about what you consider are your responsibilities in regards to the people you interact with in your life and where you might be projecting your judgements or beliefs onto others.
Do you try to take control of other peoples issues or problems as though they are your own and do you decide you know what is best for them regardless of what they want?
How many times do you take responsibility for others?
Are you aware of your own judgements and feelings you project onto others?
How will you choose to react in future?
